AWS Cloud Engineer

This role offers the chance to work on large-scale cloud infrastructure initiatives in a collaborative environment that values technical expertise and continuous learning.
This position is Fully Onsite in Suwanee, GA, with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.
Position Overview for the AWS Cloud Engineer:
- Serve as the technical leader for AWS cloud infrastructure, ensuring secure, scalable, and cost-effective solutions across projects
- Build, configure, and maintain AWS services including EC2, S3, Identity Center, and networking components
- Collaborate with internal teams to clean up and optimize existing cloud infrastructure and support migration efforts from legacy systems
- Perform deep cloud consumption analysis, implement cost-saving strategies, and optimize cloud resources
- Lead security remediation efforts to ensure compliance and best practices in AWS environments
Requirements for the AWS Cloud Engineer:
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified Cloud Operations Engineer (Associate level or above)
- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as Identity Center, EC2, S3, and networking
- Experience in cloud infrastructure build-out, optimization, and security hardening
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to serve as Tier 3 escalation point
- Open to learning Azure and working across multiple clouds with support from Azure-certified colleagues
