Summary
Coordinates, and performs activities engaged in maintaining and repairing physical structures of buildings
and maintaining grounds by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Coordinates and performs painting, building repairs, and basic woodworking, to the furnishings and warehouse.
- Performs ground maintenance activities such as mowing lawns, trimming hedges, removing weeds, and raking and disposing of leaves and refuse.
- Requisitions tools, equipment, and supplies.
- Services conveyor within the warehouse.
- Inspects completed work for conformance to blueprints, specifications, and standards.
- Studies production schedules and estimates worker hour requirements for completion of job assignment.
- Interprets company policies and performs duties following company safety regulations.
- Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.
- Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of work crew.
- Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists workers in solving work problems.
- Initiates or suggests plans to achieve work goals.
- Maintains time and production records.
- Confers with managers to coordinate activities of individual departments.
- Coordinates activities of outside contractors used for maintenance and repair of building and surroundings.
- Ability to work flexible hours.
- Other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager.
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or
training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Must possess and maintain current forklift license.
