IDR is seeking a Business Analyst to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Texas.
This role involves supporting a major healthcare organization in transitioning their legacy systems into modern, Medicaid-aligned solutions. The position requires a highly skilled communicator capable of translating complex business processes into clear, actionable technical requirements and working across multiple teams to ensure a smooth migration process.
Position Overview for the Business Analyst:
- Provide business and systems analysis in support of an IT modernization project focused on system migration and retirement.
- Serve as a bridge between stakeholders and technical teams to elicit, document, and validate requirements.
- Develop business process flow diagrams, visuals, and detailed documentation for system replacement efforts.
- Support impact and gap analysis to ensure all critical dependencies are identified and addressed.
- Facilitate collaboration across business, application, data, reporting, security, and infrastructure teams to ensure project success.
Requirements for the Business Analyst:
- 8+ years of experience in reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating business systems and user needs.
- 8+ years of experience eliciting, documenting, validating, and managing business, functional, technical, data, reporting, and interface requirements.
- 8+ years of experience developing requirements traceability from business needs through design, testing, and implementation.
- 8+ years of experience conducting current and future state process analysis, gap analysis, and dependency analysis.
- 8+ years of experience supporting complex IT projects involving multiple stakeholders, dependencies, and risks.
