IDR is seeking a Business Analyst – eMedNY SSA to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Albany, NY. This role is integral to supporting a state government healthcare modernization project, focusing on Medicaid systems and large-scale claims platforms. The organization is a leader in healthcare solutions, providing innovative services to improve healthcare delivery.
Position Overview for the Business Analyst – eMedNY SSA:
- Document detailed business and technical requirements for the eMedNY SSA
- Review and assess the existing eMedNY contract to identify improvement areas and pain points
- Draft KPIs and measurable business outcomes aligned with project goals
- Support stakeholder meetings to gather feedback on requirements and SSA content
- Support cost estimation development for the SSA and produce high-quality documentation
Requirements for the Business Analyst – eMedNY SSA:
- 8+ years of experience supporting large-scale healthcare solutions and/or healthcare modernization initiatives
- 3+ years supporting enterprise systems or projects
- Strong experience eliciting, documenting, and validating business and technical requirements in structured client environments
- Proven ability to produce high-quality, grammatically correct written deliverables, including scope narratives and procurement documentation
- Experience facilitating stakeholder meetings, capturing feedback, and documenting decisions and action items
