IDR is seeking a Business Data Analyst to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Austin, Texas. This role involves supporting business analysis and system enhancement projects within a healthcare technology environment, focusing on Medicaid claims processing and system requirements documentation.
Position Overview for the Business Data Analyst:
- Assists in development of project documentation based on HHSS/DIR requirements and creates application online help materials.
- Conducts requirements gathering with Subject Matter Experts to understand business needs and creates Use Cases, flow charts, and acceptance criteria.
- Analyzes business processes to assess potential system modifications and serves as a technical liaison during the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Ensures that system designs adhere to organizational standards and performs testing, including writing scripts, debugging, and documenting results.
- Collaborates with team members to provide status updates, facilitate knowledge transfer, and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements for the Business Data Analyst:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with Medicaid Claims Processing.
- Proven experience in analyzing and evaluating user requirements and operational procedures.
- Skilled in writing detailed descriptions of user needs, program functions, and system modifications.
- Demonstrated ability to perform cost/benefit analysis of systems and solutions.
- Experience with Azure DevOps and generation of wireframes.
