IDR is seeking a
Collections Analyst to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Ashland City, Tennessee. This role involves supporting the Accounts Receivable team by managing overdue accounts, researching payment discrepancies, and maintaining effective communication with customers to ensure timely collections. The company operates within the finance and accounts receivable industry, focusing on maintaining strong customer relationships while collecting payments.
Position Overview for the Collections Analyst:
- Manage and review daily assigned customer accounts to identify past-due balances.
- Contact customers via phone and email to obtain payment updates and resolve outstanding invoices.
- Document all communication and provide updates regarding payment status and resolution timelines.
- Investigate customer deductions or payment discrepancies, determine validity based on contracts and pricing.
- Work cross-functionally to research issues related to pricing discrepancies, warranty claims, or freight charges.
Requirements for the Collections Analyst:
- 3+ years of experience in collections, accounts receivable, or a related finance role.
- Comfortable contacting customers directly via phone and email to resolve past-due balances.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
- Ability to manage workload independently and prioritize accounts requiring follow-up.
