IDR is seeking a Epic Application Coordinator - Beacon to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Atlanta, Georgia. This role involves managing the configuration, testing, and support of the Epic Beacon oncology application within a healthcare environment. The organization specializes in innovative patient care and health information technology solutions, focusing on streamlining clinical workflows and improving patient outcomes.
Position Overview for the Epic Application Coordinator - Beacon:
- Responsible for the configuration, build, testing, validation, and ongoing support of the Epic Beacon oncology application
- Collaborates with clinical, operational, and IS stakeholders to translate workflows into system solutions
- Supports end users and maintains system performance
- Implements configuration changes and enhancements to Epic Beacon
- Provides Tier III support and troubleshooting for Epic Beacon and related applications
Requirements for the Epic Application Coordinator - Beacon:
- Minimum of 3 years of healthcare or IT experience
- At least 1 year of EMR/Epic application experience
- Experience supporting clinical or healthcare IT workflows
- Active Epic Beacon certification required
- Strong communication skills, self-starter attitude, and ability to work independently
