IDR is seeking a Event Support Analyst to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Memphis, TN. This role is ideal for someone with strong customer service skills and technical aptitude, supporting virtual and in-person events through technology management and onsite setup. The organization operates within the non-profit/philanthropy sector, focusing on impactful event execution across the country.
Position Overview for the Event Support Analyst:
- Serve as the primary IT representative responsible for planning and executing technology needs for both virtual and in-person events.
- Support internal stakeholders, event planners, attendees, volunteers, and fundraisers with all event-related technology issues.
- Evaluate event scope, coordinate technology requirements with staff or vendor partners, and oversee setup, testing, and maintenance.
- Manage on-site setup, support, and teardown of hardware and software applications, ensuring reliable operation during events.
- Act as the technical lead during event planning and execution, handling concerns promptly and professionally.
Requirements for the Event Support Analyst:
- 3-5 years’ experience working in customer service or a similar role.
- Some technical knowledge or experience—experience with technical troubleshooting, support, or device management preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and deliver creative solutions.
- Willingness to travel up to 25%, including weekends and evenings as needed, with the ability to pay upfront for travel expenses and await reimbursement.
