IDR is seeking a General Accountant to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania. This role is integral to supporting the company's multi-billion-dollar U.S. operations within a structured global finance organization. The position offers a chance to work in a complex multinational environment where accuracy, compliance, and process improvement are highly valued.
Position Overview for the General Accountant:
- Support and execute transactional accounting operations and the financial close process
- Own and perform balance sheet reconciliations, including accounts such as cash, accruals, and fixed assets
- Ensure US GAAP compliance and support internal and external audits
- Assist with governmental filings on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
- Develop and monitor internal controls while identifying opportunities for process improvement
Requirements for the General Accountant:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Master’s preferred)
- 2+ years of accounting experience, with strong US GAAP knowledge
- Experience with month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations
- Understanding of internal controls and audit exposure
- Ability to work effectively in a global matrix environment
