IDR is seeking a Intermediate Java/Python AWS Developer to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Malvern, PA. This role involves developing scalable cloud-native applications using Java and Python, leveraging AWS serverless services, and working within a modern DevOps environment. The organization operates in the financial services industry, focusing on enterprise-level solutions and data management.
Position Overview for the Intermediate Java/Python AWS Developer:
- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs with Python (Flask) and Java (Spring Boot) for backend services
- Build and migrate backend services, including converting legacy Java applications to Python-based REST APIs
- Develop microservices supporting cloud resource management platforms
- Implement data processing and analytics logic using Python libraries such as NumPy and Pandas
- Deploy serverless applications utilizing AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and DynamoDB
Requirements for the Intermediate Java/Python AWS Developer:
- Strong experience with Python and Java backend development
- Hands-on experience building RESTful APIs using Flask and Spring Boot
- Experience with AWS services, including Lambda, API Gateway, and DynamoDB
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture and serverless design patterns
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools (Bamboo, Docker, Git, Maven)
