This role calls for a dedicated professional with experience in end-user support in an Office 365 environment, IT systems management, and the advancement of organizational cybersecurity posture. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proactive approach to technology, an ability to communicate effectively across departments, and a passion for maintaining operational excellence in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.</p> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>End-User Support: Serve as the first point of contact for technical assistance, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring timely resolution for staff across all departments.</li> <li>IT Systems Management: Support the management of end user IT equipment and related inventory. Conduct the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computers, servers, networks, and related infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security.</li> <li>Security Monitoring: Regularly monitor systems for vulnerabilities, and respond promptly to security incidents, escalating as necessary and documenting all actions taken.</li> <li>Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed and accurate records of technical procedures, incidents, configurations, and compliance activities. Prepare reports for management and auditors as required.</li> <li>User Training: Educate employees about cybersecurity best practices.</li> <li>Policy Enforcement: Ensure the consistent application of IT and cybersecurity policies, including access controls, password management, and system updates.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Education: Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience.</li> <li>Prior work in government-regulated environment</li> <li>Experience: Minimum of 5+ years’ professional experience in IT support or systems administration</li> <li>Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in managing Windows and Linux operating systems, networking protocols, cloud services, and endpoint security solutions.</li> <li>Cybersecurity Knowledge: Understanding of cybersecurity principles, frameworks, and best practices, with ability to apply these concepts to real-world business environments.</li> <li>Certifications: Industry-recognized certifications such as CompTIA Security+, or similar credentials are highly desirable.</li> <li>Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
