Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Patient Account Representative:

• Manage billing and collection activities for medical, pharmacy, or durable medical equipment services.

• Collaborate with various customers and personnel to resolve billing issues and ensure accurate claims processing.

• Utilize Windows-based software, including Microsoft Word and Excel, to maintain and organize billing records.

• Work independently and as part of our client's team to achieve departmental goals.

• Contract position through the end of May 2025.

Required Skills for Patient Account Representative:

• Associate Degree in finance, business, or healthcare-related fields with one year of relevant experience, or a high school diploma/GED with at least three years of experience in billing and collections.

• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Internet navigation.

• Experience with claims management software is a plus.

• Keyboarding skills are essential.
