Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Patient Services Representative:

• Serve as the primary contact for patient interactions, both in person and over the phone, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience.

• Manage patient check-in and check-out processes, including verifying demographics and insurance details, collecting co-pays, and providing receipts.

• Schedule appointments, complete patient registration, and handle referrals and authorizations across various insurance types.

• Maintain accurate records in CS-Link/Epic and assist with patient/provider correspondence.

• Ensure workspace cleanliness by adhering to department sanitation guidelines.

Required Skills for Patient Services Representative:

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Must be flu vaccinated, with no exemptions or declinations.

• At least one year of recent experience in an outpatient clinic or medical office setting.

• Proficiency in medical insurance processes, referral handling, and benefit plan understanding.

• Ability to comprehend and follow detailed oral and written instructions.
