IDR is seeking a Publishing Operations Project Manager to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Los Angeles, California. This role will support a fast-paced entertainment organization by building structure, visibility, and alignment across key publishing operations initiatives. The ideal candidate will help establish scalable intake, prioritization, and tracking processes while partnering cross-functionally to improve execution across shared services, insights operations, and team communities.
Position Overview for the Publishing Operations Project Manager:
- Support publishing operations initiatives by creating and improving intake, prioritization, and tracking systems across multiple functional areas
- Partner with team leads and cross-functional stakeholders to bring structure and clarity to complex projects and operational workflows
- Help strengthen ongoing team collaboration by improving rituals, communication channels, and operational processes
- Drive execution across multiple workstreams while maintaining visibility into priorities, progress, and deliverables
- Contribute to scalable systems and sustainable operating practices that improve efficiency over time
Requirements for the Publishing Operations Project Manager:
- 5+ years of experience in project management, program management, or operations
- Proven experience leading cross-functional initiatives across multiple teams
- Strong background building and improving processes, systems, and workflows
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience using project tracking tools such as Airtable, Asana, Jira, or similar platforms
