<p> </p> <h1 data-start="138" data-end="170">Senior Application Developer</h1> <p data-start="171" data-end="194"><strong data-start="171" data-end="184">Location:</strong> Remote.</p> <p data-start="196" data-end="229"><strong data-start="196" data-end="216">Employment Type:</strong> Full-time.</p> <p data-start="231" data-end="294"><strong data-start="231" data-end="248">Salary Range:</strong> $125,000 – $130,000.</p> <hr data-start="296" data-end="299"> <h3 data-start="301" data-end="323">Program Overview</h3> <p data-start="324" data-end="708">The Senior Application Developer will be responsible for authoring and maintaining <strong data-start="407" data-end="433">data transmission APIs</strong> within the MuleSoft development framework, ensuring secure and reliable integrations across enterprise systems. This role includes analyzing traffic patterns for system health, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating with business stakeholders to deliver product changes.</p> <p data-start="710" data-end="947">The position requires strong knowledge of <strong data-start="752" data-end="827">data transmission schemes, API development, and application programming</strong>, with additional expertise in low-code/no-code platforms, Agile delivery, and MuleSoft Anypoint Platform development.</p> <hr data-start="949" data-end="952"> <h3 data-start="954" data-end="1036">Duties of a Senior Application Developer may include but are not limited to:</h3> <ul data-start="1037" data-end="1660"> <li data-start="1037" data-end="1108"> <p data-start="1039" data-end="1108">Developing data transmission APIs using the <strong data-start="1083" data-end="1105">MuleSoft framework</strong>.</p> </li> <li data-start="1109" data-end="1181"> <p data-start="1111" data-end="1181">Analyzing system traffic patterns to monitor performance and health.</p> </li> <li data-start="1182" data-end="1261"> <p data-start="1184" data-end="1261">Coordinating with business stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve issues.</p> </li> <li data-start="1262" data-end="1362"> <p data-start="1264" data-end="1362">Supporting product change requests and enhancements through software development best practices.</p> </li> <li data-start="1363" data-end="1461"> <p data-start="1365" data-end="1461">Designing and implementing integrations leveraging <strong data-start="1416" data-end="1458">HTTP, SMTP, TLS, proxies, and web APIs</strong>.</p> </li> <li data-start="1462" data-end="1580"> <p data-start="1464" data-end="1580">Creating process automation solutions using <strong data-start="1508" data-end="1539">low-code/no-code BPMN tools</strong> such as Appian, Salesforce, or Nintex.</p> </li> <li data-start="1581" data-end="1660"> <p data-start="1583" data-end="1660">Supporting Agile and hybrid low-code application development methodologies.</p> </li> </ul> <hr data-start="1662" data-end="1665"> <h3 data-start="1667" data-end="1701">Required Skills / Experience</h3> <ul data-start="1702" data-end="2212"> <li data-start="1702" data-end="1763"> <p data-start="1704" data-end="1763">5+ years of professional software development experience.</p> </li> <li data-start="1764" data-end="1859"> <p data-start="1766" data-end="1859">Strong understanding of <strong data-start="1790" data-end="1819">data transmission schemes</strong> (HTTP, SMTP, TLS, proxies, web APIs).</p> </li> <li data-start="1860" data-end="1976"> <p data-start="1862" data-end="1976">Proficiency in at least one programming language: <strong data-start="1912" data-end="1973">JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, C#/.NET, Python, SQL, or C++</strong>.</p> </li> <li data-start="1977" data-end="2081"> <p data-start="1979" data-end="2081">Experience with <strong data-start="1995" data-end="2040">application programming interfaces (APIs)</strong> supporting low-code/no-code platforms.</p> </li> <li data-start="2082" data-end="2150"> <p data-start="2084" data-end="2150">Knowledge of Agile and hybrid application development processes.</p> </li> <li data-start="2151" data-end="2212"> <p data-start="2153" data-end="2212">Experience in <strong data-start="2167" data-end="2197">MuleSoft Anypoint Platform</strong> development.</p> </li> </ul> <hr data-start="2214" data-end="2217"> <h3 data-start="2219" data-end="2263">Certifications / Security Requirements</h3> <ul data-start="2264" data-end="2486"> <li data-start="2264" data-end="2349"> <p data-start="2266" data-end="2349"><strong data-start="2266" data-end="2294">IT-II Security Clearance</strong> or current <strong data-start="2306" data-end="2315">NACLC</strong>.</p> </li> <li data-start="2350" data-end="2403"> <p data-start="2352" data-end="2403"><strong data-start="2352" data-end="2400">DoD 8570 Baseline Certification: IAT Level I</strong>.</p> </li> <li data-start="2404" data-end="2486"> <p data-start="2406" data-end="2486"><strong data-start="2406" data-end="2448">MuleSoft Certified Developer – Level 1</strong> (required within 6 months of hire).</p> </li> </ul> <hr data-start="2488" data-end="2491"> <h3 data-start="2493" data-end="2508">Education</h3> <p data-start="2509" data-end="2614">Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related field.</p> <hr data-start="2616" data-end="2619"> <h3 data-start="2621" data-end="2643">Company Overview</h3> <p data-start="2644" data-end="2896">Horizon Industries Limited was founded in 1996 and is based in Vienna, Virginia.
