IDR is seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer to join one of our top clients for an onsite opportunity in Lansing, MI. This role involves supporting a state government project focused on system modernization within the public sector, utilizing Salesforce best practices to develop and deploy solutions. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver secure, compliant Salesforce applications.
Position Overview for the Senior Salesforce Developer:
- Support a large-scale modernization initiative within the public sector, specifically related to Child Welfare and Human Services.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy Salesforce solutions utilizing Salesforce best practices and development standards.
- Collaborate closely with business analysts, architects, QA teams, and agency stakeholders to ensure technical solutions meet business needs.
- Support integration efforts between Salesforce and external systems using APIs, middleware, and web services.
- Participate in system design sessions, code reviews, and technical documentation activities to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Requirements for the Senior Salesforce Developer:
- 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
- Prior experience supporting a State Government, Public Sector, Health & Human Services, Child Welfare, Human Services, or CCWIS project.
- Experience working on large-scale system modernization initiatives.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I or II certification preferred.
- Strong experience with Apex Development, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Salesforce Lightning Platform, Salesforce Flows, SOQL/SOSL, REST/SOAP APIs, and integrations.
