IDR is seeking a Senior SharePoint Migration Specialist to join one of our top clients for a fully remote opportunity. This role is ideal for an experienced professional in SharePoint and cloud migrations, working within a dynamic organization that values innovation and technology.

Position Overview for the Senior SharePoint Migration Specialist:

• Act as a senior-level resource responsible for planning, executing, and supporting large-scale migrations from legacy systems to SharePoint Online within the Microsoft 365 environment.
• Lead migration strategies, perform content assessments, and utilize migration tools to ensure secure, efficient, and minimally disruptive transitions.
• Partner with business and technical teams to validate data integrity, optimize information architecture, and ensure successful post-migration adoption.
• Troubleshoot migration issues such as permissions, data loss, and performance challenges, ensuring smooth transitions.
• Work on projects with a focus on security, compliance, and seamless user experience.

Requirements for the Senior SharePoint Migration Specialist:

• 8+ years of experience with SharePoint, including significant migration project experience.
• Proven experience migrating from SharePoint on-prem / file shares to SharePoint Online (M365).
• Hands-on experience with migration tools (e.g., ShareGate, Metalogix, Microsoft Migration Manager).
• Experience with content discovery, assessment, and remediation planning.
• Strong understanding of SharePoint architecture, permissions, and information governance.
