IDR is seeking a Senior strategic Sourcing Manager to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Englewood, Colorado. This role is integral to managing procurement and supply chain strategies, ensuring value optimization, and strengthening supplier relationships within a dynamic industry.
Position Overview for the Senior strategic Sourcing MAnager:
- Lead end-to-end sourcing events, including developing requirements, managing negotiations, and drafting contracts
- Analyze historical spending, develop category strategies, and identify process improvements
- Build and execute negotiation strategies, with a focus on risk mitigation and stakeholder collaboration
- Own supplier evaluations and advise stakeholders on contract development and execution
- Support vendor relationship management, escalation, and dispute resolution activities
Requirements for the Senior strategic Sourcing MAnager:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college
- 8-10 years of relevant management experience in strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, and business analysis
- Demonstrated results and value realization from sourcing activities
- Procurement and/or Supply Chain related professional certification preferred
- Results-oriented mentality with a focus on efficiency, accuracy, and quality
