Position Overview/Responsibilities for the System Administrator:

- Provide daily onsite support, managing and troubleshooting Windows servers and Microsoft environments
- Handle tasks related to Office 365, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, Exchange, and Azure AD
- Serve as backup for the team's AV administrator, including basic AV equipment and classroom tech support
- Respond to and manage IT service tickets, and assist with cybersecurity-related responsibilities as they arise
- Engage in cross-team collaboration on projects and provide hands-on support at school sites when needed
- Participate in building and maintaining team documentation
- This is a contract-to-hire position with an initial term of 3 months

Required Skills for System Administrator:

- 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in ESX - VMWare or Active Directory
- Experience with Microsoft Windows Server OS
- Knowledge of Office 365, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, Exchange / Exchange Online, Azure AD and Intune (preferred)
- Familiarity with cybersecurity principles, system troubleshooting, and basic AV support
- Strong multitasking abilities, flexibility, and adaptability
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset
