IDR is seeking a Technical Support Engineer - Automation to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Santa Clara, CA. This role is part of a dynamic team supporting the ServiceNow platform, focusing on resolving complex technical issues while providing excellent customer service. The company operates within the technology/software industry, emphasizing innovation and customer satisfaction.
Position Overview for the Technical Support Engineer - Automation:
- Manage and resolve the most challenging issues related to the ServiceNow platform.
- Act as the first point of escalation within the technical support department.
- Provide regular communication updates to customers on the progress of their requests.
- Develop a strong understanding of the ServiceNow platform to support end-users effectively.
- Support customers remotely using SSH, SNMP, WMI, PowerShell, and troubleshoot networking concepts.
Requirements for the Technical Support Engineer - Automation:
- 2+ years' professional experience writing & debugging JavaScript code
- 2+ years' experience in SQL Scripting
- Experience supporting customers and/or end-users from a technical standpoint
- Experience providing remote administration via SSH, SNMP, WMI, PowerShell
- Understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, HTTP, firewalls, load balancers, and ports
